About this Lancia Delta

It’s hard to imagine, looking at the rally-bred Evo II you see here, that the Lancia Delta HF Integrale started life as just another small hatchback, an Italian runaround designed to pick up pasta and prosecco. Indeed, it was a full eight years after the basic Delta was launched that Lancia’s renowned rally department worked their magic on their innocent little shopper, equipping it with monstrous bulging wheel arches, four-wheel drive and the Integrale badge that signalled performance to turn the average supercar driver pale.
On the rally stage, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale was an instant success, winning the World Rally Championship for Lancia a record six times in a row. That means the little Lancia has the unlikely title of one of the most successful rally cars of all time.

This striking 1994 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II is a stunning example of the iconic rally-derived homologation-special in the coveted limited-edition ‘Giallo Ginestra’ of which only 220 were produced. It was sold new in Germany and first registered in Hamburg on 31st August 1994 where it spent three years before coming to the UK and was registered here on 3rd September 1997.

If there's a car where yellow works better than any other, it's the Lancia Delta Integrale and in Giallo Ginestra, it is one of the rarest EVO II's produced. Under the bonnet sits a 2.0-litre turbocharged 16-valve inline-four cylinder engine producing an impressive 215hp sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, thanks to the new ECU and the Garrett T3 turbo on the EVO II which translates into a 0-60 mph in 5. 7 seconds.

Finished in its original limited edition colour scheme of Giallo Ginestra with Dark Grey Alcantara trim with yellow stitching, Recaro front sports seats, new Black carpets + HF over-mats, Momo Corse Steering Wheel, Air Conditioning, and it has a new set of 17" Evolution Speedline Corse Magnesium Alloy Wheels in Anthracite with new Pirelli P-Zero tyres.

This car has had 7 previous keepers from new with the current owner having purchased the car in July 2018 and it boasts an impressive and full marque specialist maintenance history with 17 stamps in the service/maintenance book - 5 in Germany and 9 by Lancia dealer Walkers Garage Ltd in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and 4 by Auto Intergrale Ltd in Reading. There is a log of expenditure on the car from 2003 to 2018 amounting to £18,850, but upon purchasing the car in September 2018, the current owner had Walkers Garage carry out a full assessment of the car and as a result of their recommendations he spent a further £16,862 with them with works amounting to 189.25 hours in total, including a full engine rebuild plus many other new components. In addition to these works, some paintwork rectification was carried out by a specialist bodyshop amounting to £2,000, re-trimming of the front seats by a specialist trimmer at £1,800, all amounting to £20,662 and a total spend on the car of £39,512 since 2003.

The car comes with its original handbook pack including maintenance book and owners manual, two books on Lancia Delta Integrale's including Peter Collins hardback book, HPi check and certificate, MOT history and certificates, all invoices for works and servicing carried out and it has now covered a genuine 131,493 Kilometers (81,708 miles) from new, but only 393 Kilometers (244 Miles) since the engine rebuild by Walkers Garage Ltd and it is still running in!

A fabulous and rare car that needs no introduction, the Lancia Delta Integrale is just a truly great classic, and one to keep in your garage!
